THE ARGONIANS
Dar Jee, the supposed "Khajiit" in disguise. He always has a joke to tell.
It isn't every day that you get to pile a bunch of squirming lizards into one heaping mess, rip out a surgeon's scalpel, and go to town on them. Believe me, when I first attempted to tackle Black Marsh's swampy denizens, that is pretty much what I felt like doing. Now, I'm not a developer, so I'm not certain why their skeletal structure works so differently than humans and Elves, but man were these guys difficult! Nevertheless, after many hours spent gathering resources online, I eventually felt comfortable enough to give them a second try. After all, TNR just wouldn't feel complete if it didn't have all of Tamriel's races within them. So I decided in the end that they would become just a little different than what most people were used to. In effect, as you can see from the screens below, their overall look now runs from Morrowind's gentler sloped heads to toads, passing by snakes and serpents, and even one or two prehistoric type dinosaurs. Argonians? Challenging? You bet!
