THE NORDS
Bruma's foremost smith: Fjotreid, owner and proprietor of Hammer and Axe.
It would have been easy to simply turn the Nords into blonde haired blue eyed warriors and maidens. In fact, during my first attempt in revamping their looks, that is exactly what I did - to my dismay as well as that of other forum members. Like the Bretons, my first attempts at changing the Nords' appearance had been dissapointing. Upon my second attempt, I analyzed my thinking and the direction I wished to take with them. I came to the conclusion that a race accustomed to the open seas and exploration would inevitably possess a strong and varied gene pool, thereby giving them a wider range of facial features while still being subject to the harshness of the land. The end result? A race that appears as the child of its environment: strong, bold, more indifferent than heroic, and always on the lookout for an opportunity to initiate a fist fight. In Bruma - the northern jewel of Cyrrodil, the adventurous soul can rest from his travels and sleep in a warm bed. Night after night, one can be exposed to hearing tall tales of past exploits, giant foaming flasks of mead, and a chance to catch a fair maiden's eye. It's all there for the adventurous at heart.
Not all of these mods are required to enjoy TNR. If you like the new look of all ten races, just use TNR All Races Final - it contains all of them in one. Use TNR for Shivering Isles as well as TNR All Races Final if you have the Shivering Isles Expansion pack.
